Product Description
The ATC-820 is a high speed USB to RS485 (2-wire, Half-duplex) adapter. The ATC-820 uses a DB9 male connector and supports baud rates from 300 to 1M baud. The USB interface is 1.1 and 2.0 compatible and uses the FTDI high speed serial to USB chip.
This product is frequently used to configure the ATC-871-S2, a RS485 wireless short distance radio.

Trouble free and Reliable
I bought this to replace one purchased in 2015 that I thought had failed. As it turns out, it was a software problem and the adapter was fine. So, now I have two of them... one as a backup, or I might possibly build a second system.

Used in machine control
Works great. Set up in Windows 10 without issiue. We use a full populated DB9 cable to connect. Only wish the unit had the mounting screws.

Other than Win 7 driver
Works great with Win 10, but trying to find the download for Win7 is a bit of a pain from the web site.
