Product Description

The Ixxat CANbridge NT 420 is a configurable CAN to CAN bridge/router to connect different CAN/CAN FD systems. There are 4 CAN channels of which 2 are CAN FD switchable via software. Long-distance communication is via several message processing and multiplexing functionalities.

This all in one device can be used as a PC interface, as a CAN-Ethernet-CAN bridge or as a CAN Ethernet gateway.  Bridge mode enables easy message exchange between CAN/CAN FD systems to setup tree or star topologies.

Streamline network traffic and enhance efficiency by using the advanced filter, ID translation, data mapping and multiplexing functionalities.  With additional programming of action rules using LUA, tailored responses to specific network events are possible.  

Security and protection includes galvanic isolation and defined access levels for configuration or firmware updates.
