Product Description

When your AKCP securityProbe or sensorProbeX+ runs out of sensor ports, the E-Sensor8 gives you 8 more — without adding complexity to your monitoring setup. Connect it to your base unit over standard CAT5 cable at distances up to 1,000 ft (300 m), then daisy-chain additional units as your environment grows. Each expansion unit in the chain maintains that same 1,000 ft spacing, so coverage scales with your facility.

All 8 ports support AKCP intelligent sensors and deliver configurable output signals (0 VDC or 5 VDC) per port. Three LED types give you at-a-glance status: power, expansion port connectivity, and per-sensor online/threshold state. A single IP address manages up to 600 total sensor points across your entire chain.

The E-Sensor8 is available in 2 form factors: a 1U rack mount version (E-IS8N), or a DIN rail mount (E-IS8N-DIN). Built with low-power surface mount components, it carries an MTBF of 400,000 hours.

Note: Compatible with AKCP intelligent sensors. Not compatible with SP+ smart sensors or TMP NIST2/3.
