Using the multi-colored ProfiConnector Plug is an easy way to quickly identify PROFIBUS networks, or segments within a network, by using a unique color for each network or segment. This helps speed up troubleshooting when drawings aren’t available or are out of date. The connectors come in five colors: white, red, green, orange and purple.

This connector comes with a comes with a PG (“piggy-back”) connector, convenient for connecting troubleshooting devices such as ProfiTrace, and has screw terminals for the connection of the A and B wires.

The ProfiConnector is designed for industrial environments. The 90° angle connection allows for use in tight spaces and an IP20 rating with shock and UV resistant case help protect the device for harsh conditions. The connector is also designed with a convenient notch to fit easily onto its connected device, as well as shield connection clips and built in strain relief for both the incoming and outgoing cables.
