    The PCAN-USB X6 is a USB adapter allowing up to six connections for the CAN FD or CAN busses to a USB or M12 port. This device is great when working with multiple connections which makes it excellent for use in test benches with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations. The X6 has a rugged aluminum case with D-Sub connectors and can be purchased with either isolated or non-isolated D-Sub connectors or isolated M12 connectors.

    The CAN FD standard offers a higher bandwidth for data transfers allowing for a maximum of 64 data bytes per frame and can transmit up to 12 MBit/s. The CAN FD is also downward compatible to the CAN 2.0 A/B standard allowing CAN FD nodes to be used in current CAN networks. However, CAN 2.0 A/B devices cannot be used on a CAN FD network.

    NOTE: A power supply is NOT included, and the adapter cannot be powered by the USB.
