    The ESP8089 is a highly integrated 2.4GHz Wi-Fi SoC with a compact 5x5mm footprint, and is great for use in mobile phones, portable MP3/4 players, cameras, camcorders, tablets and more.

    The ESP8089 is a 2.4GHz 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi networking offload engine for application processors connecting via the high-speed SPI/SDIO interface. With built-in processing and storage, the chip is capable of integrating with the host platform and requiring minimal external circuitry or integrated antenna switches, RF balun, power amplifiers, low noise receiver amplifiers, or filters.

    It offers dual low power modes ideal for battery powered devices. Typical current consumption is less than 12uA in sleep mode and less than 1.0mW (when DTIM=3), and as low as 0.5mW (when DTIM=10) when connected to a Wi-Fi network.


    The ESP8089 has the following advanced features:
