The low cost GC-HF-LPB100 Embedded WiFi Module provides 802.11b/g/n 2.4 GHz WiFi networking for a printed circuit board device design. This compact module can be ordered with an internal PCB antenna or an external SMA connector. It is a low profile (23.1 x 32.8 x 2.7 mm) 48 pin/lead surface mount device. Low power consumption (average 12mA) and power management make the HF-LPB100 ideal for applications requiring long battery operation.
The HF-LPB100 is powered by a High-Flying MC101 MCU and supports UART, SPI, and PWM communication. The module can be configured with a user-friendly web page, via an AT+ instruction set or with the Smart Link Android/iOS app. The HF-LPB100 can operate in Infrastructure Station (STA) mode, Soft Access Point (AP) mode or AP+STA mode.
With a small footprint, low cost, and rich feature set the HF-LPB100 Embedded WiFi Module is well suited for many Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The module is small enough to be added to most devices. With an industrial temperature range this module can be used in devices designed for harsh environments.
