xPico enables for the addition of Ethernet connectivity onto an existing design with a serial interface. It includes a full IP stack, built in web server and a complete device server application. The included software set provides superior connectivity while allowing for simple remote access into device data. The xPico also includes 256-bit AES Encryption at no additional cost.
xPico expands upon the functionality of the XPort by bringing more pins to your circuit board. This adds full serial port control with pins for both DTR/DCD and RTS/CTS as well as 6 software selectable programmable I/O pins.
The xPico sets itself apart from existing embedded serial solutions in the market with its incredibly small size and low price. This allows for much more flexibility in design for adding Ethernet connectivity without the engineering involved in a chip solution. With the included applications built into xPico there is very little development effort needed enabling you to keep costs down and lower your time to market.

xPico is available as a Standard Part (GC-XPICO / XPC100100B-01) or a Sample Part (GC-XPICO-S / XPC100100S-01). The Standard Part includes the module only, the Sample Part includes the module, 40-pin mating connector, and mounting hardware.
