Product Description

This long range Wireless Access Point is a dependable and cost-effective WLAN device in a weatherproof IP55 rated enclosure making it ideal for outdoor use or in industrial environments. Operating in the 5GHz ISM band, it supports high-speed wireless networking and is IEEE 802.11a/n compliant.

There are 4 modes of operation allowing one device to simplify complex wireless networks:

  • Wireless Access Point
  • Wireless Client Mode
  • Repeater
  • WDS Bridge

Included with this long range wireless access point are 2 external 5 dBi Omni antenna for standard applications. Other antennas can be used if more power or greater coverage is needed. External antenna can be connected via one of the (2) SMA-RP connectors.

Powered by an Atheros AR9342 chipset, the ZAC-1023-5 implements wireless security with the selection of WEP, WPA, WPA2, WPA+WPA2, WPA-PSK(TKIP), WPA2-PSK(AES), WPA-PSK + WPA2-PSK encryption.
