The ESP32-D0WD features dual microprocessors, one for normal operation, and one for low-power sleep mode, in an ultra-compact 5 x 5 mm package. Suitable for battery powered applications, this combo chip has both Bluetooth (BT 4.2 and BLE) and Wi-Fi radios.

This combination is great for gateways, as well as for using BLE for direct access from smartphones/tablets and using Wi-Fi for connected applications.
